On November 17, within the framework of the "Ryhani zhangiry" program, the "Festival of Slavic and European Ethnoses" was held. The festival, organized by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, Astana, was held on the stage of one of the main symbols of the capital - Shopping and Entertainment Center "Khan Shatir".

During the event, residents and guests of the capital had the opportunity to see a bright and rich concert and entertainment program with the participation of Slavic and European ethno-cultural associations of the capital, as well as an exhibition of arts and crafts.

The peculiarity of this Festival is its folkloric orientation. Vocal and choreographic performances in the program of the festival were filled with inimitable national color and unique character of performance. The festive concert allowed all those present to touch the culture of the Slavic and European peoples.

Ethno-cultural associations of Astana demonstrated all the beauty and bright palette of the spiritual culture of their ethnos, as well as the unity and solidarity of the people of our country. During the event, the audience had the opportunity to see the multifaceted work of the ensemble of Russian and Cossack songs "Razdol'e" of the Regional Public Association "Union of CossacksSteppe the edges", metropolitan creative groups PA "Society of Ukrainians "Obereg", "Jewish cultural and educational and socio-political society "Alef", with concert numbers were musical groups - Belarusian vocal - choral ensemble "Vyaselka" PA "Radima", Bulgarian ethno-cultural center "Zlata". Stormy applause provoked vocal ensemble "Stokrotka" and dance group "Kuyavyachek" capital company «Polacy». Not left indifferent present musical presentation of the Society of Germans "Revival" and the branch of the Republican Slavic movement "Lad".

"Festival of Slavic and European ethnic groups" - the final event from the cycle of "Days of Ethnicity", which were held during the year. "Day of Ethnicity" is not just a holiday, it is a holiday of friendship and unity of all cultures inherent in our multinational Kazakhstan. The symbol of the "Day of Ethnicity" was the "Carpet of Friendship" presented at the event, embodying the unity, harmony and harmony of all nationalities living in our capital. The Kazakh ornament, located in the center of the carpet, serves as a unifying element of 24 national patterns represented by the capital's ethno-cultural associations.

The main objectives of this event are to strengthen stability and interethnic accord, demonstrate the achievements of the Kazakhstan model of intercultural dialogue, form the interest and respect for the cultural traditions and customs of the ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan, position Kazakhstan as a country with a unique historical and cultural heritage, community.
