June 25, 2017 at the stadium "Spartacus" of the Central Park of Culture and Sport. Gorky held a solemn event dedicated to the Sabantuy holiday. Heads of ethnocultural organizations, creative collectives from Astana, Karaganda, Semey, Taldykorgan, Taraz, Shymkent, Uralsk, Petropavlovsk came to the holiday.

For the guests of the event, a festive program was prepared at which creative individuals of different nationalities performed. In addition, an exhibition was organized where jewelers, minters, potters and other craftsmen displayed their craft.

In the sports zone and in the zone of national games, competitions were held on strength, agility and speed. It is worth noting that at all venues was organized the sale of Tatar national dishes.

The event was held with the support of the Almaty akimat, the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Almaty and KSU "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of the akim of Almaty. The organizers were the Association of Tatars and Bashkirs of Kazakhstan, the Tatar ethno-cultural association Almaty, the Tatar Center for Humanitarian Development "Ildash".
