November 16 the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Kazakhstan Rashad Mammadov and Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Almaty Jørn Rosenberg visited the abode of unity and concord House of Friendship of the Kyzylorda city. The meeting was attended by Deputy Mayor of Rustemov Ruslan, Head of the Secretariat of the regional Assembly Lyailya Tureshova, director of the municipal public institution "Kogamdyk Kelisim" Kyzylorda oblast akim Ualikhan Ibraev, representatives of ethno-cultural associations.

First they visited the Museum of the House of Friendship, where got acquainted with the ancient history and culture of ethnic groups living in these parts. Ambassador of Azerbaijan Rashad Mammadov said in his opening speech on the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan as having no equals in the world of public institutions established to implement the policy of the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev, and that in a beautiful building has all the conditions for the development of the work of ethno-cultural associations. "House of Friendship - a place of peace and harmony, light and multi-functional initiatives and resource centers", - he said.

In Kyzylorda oblast in the sphere of strengthening interethnic accord special attention paid to the relationship of ethnic and cultural associations and civil institutions. In this regard, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan shared purpose of the visit, representatives of the Azerbaijani Diaspora wished to live in peace and harmony with all the ethnic groups living in the region. He also said that if necessary, the assistance of the Embassy, ​​it is always ready to lend a hand.

The region is home to about 300 representatives of Azerbaijani and 145 representatives of the German ethnic group.

On the meeting the head of the public association "German ethno-cultural center «Wiedergeburt» Irina Nikolaevna gave a speech, she expressed special gratitude to the Consul General Jørn Rosenberg for taking part in the establishment of open communication with their historical homeland. At the same time, arriving guests got acquainted with the activities of German and Slavic associations.

At the end of the meeting Rashad Mammadov presented the director of KSU "Kogamdyk Kelisim" W. Ibraev multicultural book "Kos Halyk, bir tagdyr" and "Eternal way of life".  General Consul Jørn Rosenberg for his part presented the representatives of the public association "German ethno-cultural center «Wiedergeburt» souvenirs.
