November 13 in the metropolitan gymnasium № 5 was held the celebration of the independence of Poland, organized by the public association «Polacy» headed by Elena Rogowska.

The guests of the holiday were activists of NGO «Polacy», Polish Sunday school students, as well as the parent compound. The ceremony in Astana opened the anthems of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Poland.

During the event, a teacher of Polish Pani Maria Zamlevska told about historical events that preceded the establishment of the independence of Poland.

Besides, the concert was accompanied by performances of Sunday school students, where patriotic poems about Poland told Natalia and Alexander Lysakovsky, Evelyn Gorelov and Vlada Kuharskaya and the national song was performed by soloists vocal ensemble "Kwiat" told the audience about the formation of Poland's independence.

It should be noted that the entire concert was held in the Polish language, where all rooms complement each other stories not only about the independence of Poland, but also the sights and traditions of the country itself.

The culmination of the evening was the joint performance of "Hymn of Poles abroad", which was followed by a chorus of tea drinking at the table with national food and pastries of the Polish people.

Note, Independence Day, or rather the National Day of Independence in Poland celebrated every year on November 11 in honor of the proclamation of independence of the state from the domination of Germany, Russia and Austria in 1918. This day is accompanied by a flag-raising, the President’s speech, officials, prominent politicians, as well as a military parade in the center of Warsaw. In all cities of the country are celebrations, concerts and festivities.
