CENTRAL ASIAN SCIENTIFIC AND EXPERT COUNCIL OF THE ASSEMBLY OF THE PEOPLE OF KAZAKHSTAN "NATIONAL CODE AND IDENTITY IN THE GLOBALIZATION EPOCH"

On September 29, 2017, the Central Asian Scientific and Expert Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan was held at Nazarbayev University on the topic "National code and identity in the era of globalization".

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman - Head of the APK Secretariat Darkhan Mynbay, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the RK, members of the APK Council, representatives of state bodies and ethno-cultural associations and the media.

The speakers of the Council were foreign experts from Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Belarus, as well as well-known domestic experts in the field of international relations.

The meeting of the Central Asian Scientific and Expert Council of the APK was opened by D.Mynbay, who noted that Kazakhstan is part of a huge region of Central Asia, the feature of which has always been the harmonious coexistence of different peoples and cultures.

Further, in his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the APK, listing the ongoing international projects important in strengthening national unity and tolerance, noted that the Central Asian Scientific and Expert Council is the third significant international project and today's meeting of the council can be considered as one of the measures, aimed at creating favorable conditions in the region for further strengthening of consensus and mutual understanding.

Then the participants began to discuss the issues on the agenda.

Corresponding member of the Tajik Academy of Architecture and Construction, the director of the Center for Geopolitical Studies, the professor of the Russian-Tajik University, the doctor of historical sciences Guzel Maitdinova in her report "The experience of using traditional heritage in the process of modernization of public consciousness in Tajikistan" shared some experience in the sphere of state ideology in their country.

Head of the Department of Methodology of Philosophical and Humanitarian Sciences of the Belarusian State University of Culture and Art, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor М.А. Mozheiko spoke on the topic "Cultural identity as an evolutionary resource of the state in the era of globalization," while associate professor of the Uzbek National University, candidate of philosophical sciences D.I.Fayizihodjaeva shared her visions on the topic "Dialogue: agreement or conflict?".

After the plenary session, two discussion panels were held on topics: "Modern culture as a new space for the formation of personality" and "National code: challenges of the global world", in which participants raised questions from the problems of socio-cultural identity of the Central Asian civilizational community to the sacral geography of Kazakhstan in the written heritage of peoples Central Asia, on intercultural dialogue on the basis of modernization of public consciousness, and a realistic review and a probabilistic assessment the spread of the influence of IGIL in Central Asia.

The aim of the event was to analyze and summarize the international experience of using cultural heritage in the process of modernization of public consciousness; identification of the basic components of the national code of Kazakhstanis, assessment of the role of civil identity in maintaining the stability of the modern state, studying the main trends in the development of cross-cultural dialogue, assessing the opportunities for interaction of modern Kazakhstan culture with the cultures of other countries in the global world.

Organizers of the event: ANC Scientific and Expert Council, with the participation of the Center for Interethnic and Inter-Confessional Relations in the Central Asian Region of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
