Charity concert in Astana

Charity concert of Cossack Choir "Stanichniki" held in the concert hall of the Cyril and Methodius Spiritual Center of Astana in support of children with disabilities, children from large and poor families. The event held in the framework of "The 20th anniversary of the APK - 20 good deeds". The initiators of the event were the Slavic movement "Lad" Republican Astana branch, the chairman Nikolai Shepelyuk, with the support of the "Red Crescent" NGO Astana branch of the and the Orthodox Church.

 

Chairman of "Lad" RDA of the Astana branch Nikolai Shepelyuk, deputy director of "Kogamdyk kelіsіm" MGA at akimat in Astana Kudaibergen Sekerbaev, representative of the "Red Crescent" NGO Altynay Ahmetzhanova, sacristan of the Holy Dormition Cathedral father Dmitry Baydek made speech.

 

The Chairman of "Lad" RDA AF Nikolai Shepelyuk noted that such kind of  events unite people of various nationalities, ages and social status to a common problem. He also thanked all guests for taking part in the action, because everyone has made a contribution.

 

Lliterary-musical performance based on the poem by Alexander Tvardovsky "Vasily Terkin" "The fight goes not for the glory, for the sake of life on Earth," presented by the artistic led Natalia Ivanova, as part of charity folk concert. Members of the choir have read the most famous lines of the poem about the ordinary soldier-worker who won in that terrible war. Both young and older choir performed wonderful songs of that days. An interesting director's findings expected the audience in which every guest was able to dip into the era of the war years.

 

All the funds were transferred to the Red Crescent in Astana for disabled children and children from poor families. At the end of the performance there was a general photo of all participants of the event.
