October 10, 2016 in the sports complex "Munaishy" Municipal and state institution «Kogamdyk kelesim» Atyrau oblast akim in the framework of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a charity festival of art and sport for persons with disabilities "Biz birgemiz! - We are together!"

The festival is held in order to attract public attention to issues of social adaptation and integration of disabled people, support the development of physical culture and sports, cultural and creative potential of people with disabilities, promotion of physical culture and sports among the disabled.

Atyrau region, and ethnic and cultural associations in the campaign was attended by members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan; Deputy Atyrau regional branch of the party "Nur Otan" N.Ozhaev and party members, heads of regional administrations, associations and NGOs; representatives of local government bodies in the fields of education, regulation of labor relations; citizens, students and the media.

The event was attended by people with disabilities among the representatives of ethno-cultural associations, the disabled community area and festival guests - public association of the city of Uralsk "Arba", a total of 70 people.

In the foyer of the sports complex "Munaishy" was an exhibition of participants in applied arts festival, painting, etc. Festival guests familiarized with handmade articles of felt, embroidered with national ornaments, household items made of ceramics and national musical instruments.

Greeted opened the festival director of KSU «Kogamdyk kelesim» Atyrau oblast akim Tamara Amand-Turlina. "Today, in the framework of the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a charity festival of culture and sports among people with disabilities. The significance of this festival is that it takes place in the Olympic year. And so this year we have expanded its borders to include in the festival program also sporting events. The purpose of the event - promoting healthy lifestyles, rehabilitation of disabled people by means of art, to instill in the younger generation love of sport and art ", - she said in a statement.
