November 15, 2017 in the Almaty State Business was held a competition for knowledge of the history and ethnic groups of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, their national cuisine, traditions.

Leaders and members of ethno-cultural associations, teachers and students of the college, youth took part in the event.

The organizer of the event was KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of akim of Almaty city and Almaty state business college.

Within the framework of the event there was a competition among college students on the knowledge of the ethnic groups of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their traditions and cuisine, the history of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the exhibition of ethnic cuisine of different ethnic groups, and the concert program.

The event began with the welcoming words of the Deputy Chairman of the APK in Almaty, the chairman of the cultural educational center "Irnihas" Mamsurov K.V. and the director of the Almaty State College of Business Kasymova G.K. They noted the importance of preserving the unity and harmony of the people of Kazakhstan, creating a tolerant attitude among young people, and the great influence that educational institutions have on the upbringing of the youth. Then, brief information was given on the activities of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, followed by a concert program and a competition for knowledge of the history and ethnic groups of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

During the contest, the college students were asked a few questions. Correctly answered, they were rewarded with gifts from the KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of the city akim. Worthy of attention, a large number of people who want to answer questions, which shows the high interest of young people in Kazakhstan's domestic policy.

As part of the concert program, students of the college performed popular songs, dances, played musical instruments of different ethnic groups. In the end, the students arranged a flash mob together on the stage and performed a song. The leaders of the ethno-cultural association did not remain indifferent, taking part in the dance with the students.

At the end of the event, the leaders of ethno-cultural associations congratulated teachers and students on such a wonderful holiday.
