On 14^th December 2016 a closing ceremony of the Republican Campaign "TAUELSІZ Kazakhstan" Train" of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the railway station in Almaty.

The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, Majilis deputies of Kazakh Parliament, members of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, government representatives, ethnic and cultural associations, scientific and creative intelligentsia, youth and the media.

"Today we close "Tauelsіz Kazakhstan” Train" grand republican campaign of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan dedicated to the important historical event for our country - the 25^th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The arrival of train at each station turned into a huge celebration for their residents. This is a celebration of our patriotism; it is a holiday of revival of our national spirit! In addition, each visit had its deeper meaning. This campaign of the Assembly has managed to communicate to our fellow citizens who live in the most remote areas, the basic ideas of our Elbasy. On behalf of the Kazakhstan People's Assembly, I thank all the participants of the train for the great work which we have done together! I thank our main partners - "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" Company and "Samuryk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund, which ensured the implementation of this large-scale project", - said iYeraly Tugzhanov.

"TAUELSІZ Kazakhstan" Train visited 35 settlements in all regions of the country during 43 days. The priority of the train’s work is to cover all segments of people, with particular attention to vulnerable groups, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, people in remote areas of the country.

The goal of the Republican Campaign was to demonstrate the achievements of the country under the command of the Leader of Nation, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev during the years of independence, strengthening the unity of people, the consolidation of society around the basic priorities of the country's development, organization of cultural and social events, the provision of medical, social and legal services to the population, as well as the organization of advisory services in support of business, agriculture, etc.

During "Tauelsіz Kazakhstan" Train" Campaign:

- more than 9.5 thousand people participated in work of the counseling offices of the Councils of Public Consent, lectures, presentations, seminars, trainings to explain the main provisions of the state policy in the field of social cohesion and national unity, and "Mangilik El" national patriotic ideas.

- On medical diagnostic and consultative assistance to citizens - more than 11.5 thousand people;

- On the provision of advisory services to the local population by representatives of social services, health care, judicial authorities, national ministries of economy, agriculture, education and science, information and communication, etc. - more than 63.5 thousand people;.

The total number of participants taking part in the activities of "Tauelsіz Kazakhstan" Train was more than 85 thousand people.

The participants of campaign were Deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, members of the Assemble of People of Kazakhstan, culture and sports figures, medical workers, and social workers.

As part of the Train’s activities there were held meetings on the model of peace and harmony, training seminars, consultations of lawyers, doctors, farmers for various population groups, charity events of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan: "The Gift of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan", which provided for the transfer of the collection of books to libraries, located on the route of the Train; "Caravan of Solace" - visiting the children's homes and youth homes.

There were held meetings, discussions and presentations on the subjects: "The spirit of a nation is reflected in its independence history"; "Mangilik El - the spiritual foundation of the Common Future Nation"; "The model of peace and harmony is a brand of Kazakhstan"; "the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan is the main mediator in the strengthening of public consent".

Holiday concerts were organized by leading creative teams, Masters of Arts of Kazakhstan, as well as talented young people of regions.
