July 14, 2017 in the Akmola Regional Philharmonic hosted a concert of the wind ensemble of the Bavarian Wind Music Association, organized by the Germans Society "Revival" of the city of Kokshetau and the German Embassy in Astana with the support of Akimat of Akmola region. It should be noted that the ensemble in May 2017 was awarded the Bavarian state award for music, after appearances at the EXPO within the framework of the National Day of Germany was presented in Kokshetau with Bavarian traditions and wind music.

This concert was a regular event in the series of events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Kazakhstan. Deputy Akim of Akmola region Kappel Yegor Yakovlevich made a welcoming speech, indicating the importance of the event in the cultural relations between our countries. It was warmly accepted by the Ambassador of Germany, Mr. Rolf Mafael, who thanked the Kokshetau Germans Society for organizing the concert.

Despite the season of holidays, the auditorium was full, besides for fans of Bavarian music the entrance was free. The one and a half hour concert was held in one breath, literally, the ensemble was represented by various wind instruments, each of which was masterfully mastered by performers. Young musicians gave the whole color not only of traditional, but also classical and modern music. All the performed works ended with a standing ovation of enthusiastic listeners. Especially liked the audience applauded standing.
