On December 1, 2017, with the support of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Aktobe region, the VI International Festival "Consonance of Cultures - 2017" was held, dedicated to the Day of the First President.

The festival aims to strengthen interethnic harmony, promote the cultural heritage of the peoples inhabiting the Republic of Kazakhstan. Preservation and development of cultural cooperation, peace, friendship and unity of peoples. Development and promotion of amateur folk art of ethno-cultural associations.

Representatives of ethnocultural associations from different regions of Kazakhstan and Russia were invited to the festival; Public association Slavic ethno-cultural association "Svyatoch" Atyrau region, Armenian ethno-cultural association "Masis" dance group "Ararat", Honored Vocal Ensemble of Kazakh Folk Art "Zhas gulim" Orenburg Region Adamovsky District and creative collectives of ethno-cultural associations at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Aktyubinsk region

Representatives of ethnocultural associations, showed hospitality, demonstrated the national peculiarities of tradition. The exhibition presents works of crafts and history of different nationalities, this is an effective way to approach and deepen.

Chairman of the public association of the Slavic ethnocultural association "Svyatoch" of the Atyrau region Bitkova Raisa in her speech:

"All this is thanks to the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich. Representatives of different nationalities are similar to the children of one mother. They all welcome us together. Congratulations to all! "

The invited guests and 18 ethno-cultural associations were awarded with letters of thanks and valuable gifts of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of the Aktyubinsk region.

After the event, an excursion was organized for the guests of the festival on the significant places of the city of Aktobe.
