On June 30, 2017, the Civil Forum of National Cultural Centers of the member states of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA) "Cultural openness - the basis of peace and harmony" was held in the Palace of Independence.

Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan - Head of the ANC Secretariat Darkhan Mynbay, deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, domestic and foreign scientists, experts, public figures, representatives of state bodies, heads and staff of diplomatic missions of the CICA countries in Kazakhstan - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia took part in the event. , Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, etc., the scientific and creative intelligentsia, representatives of ethnocultural associations and the media.

At the end of the plenary, the Forum continued with the work of foresight sessions:

- "Ways of interaction: solidarity and modernization";

- "Modern Kazakhstan culture in the global world";

- "Information flows in the 21st century: a multicultural aspect".

Within the framework of the Forum, a photo exhibition "Moments of CICA" was organized, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the organization and an exhibition of national cultural centers - CICA countries.

Also, the forum participants met with representatives of ethno-cultural associations. We got acquainted with the exposition "The Kazakhstan model of public harmony and national unity of N.
