On November 17, 2017, an event was held in the Almaty Children's Home No. 1 in honor of the election of the presidium of the Children's Self-Government. Within the framework of the event pupils of the orphanage organized a concert program.

The event was attended by deputy chairman of the APK in Almaty, chairman of the Ossetian Cultural Educational Center "Irnihas" Mamsurov K.V., director of KGU "Kogmady kelisim" of the apparatus of the city akim of Almaty Murunova Zh.Sh., representative of the Almaty Korean National Center and others.

The event began with a concert at which children performed popular songs and dances. After that, the President of the Children's Self-Government solemnly vowed that he will do his best for the benefit of the orphanage and its pupils.

Then the floor was given to the director of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" and the deputy chairman of the APK of Almaty, who praised the children for their activity and the children of the Orphanage No 1 for their selfless work for the benefit of the children. Congratulating the children on the holiday of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" gave them T-shirts, baseball caps and org. technique for arranging a cabinet for children's self-government.

At the end of the event, children and adults took to the streets with balloons and, after making a wish, let them go.
