On August 13, in the city park of culture and leisure, within the framework of the festival "We Live in a Single Family," an event dedicated to the Day of Ukrainian Culture was held with great scope. The organizers of the festival were the public association "Association of Ukrainian Culture. TG Shevchenko ». The annual festival "We Live in a Single Family" became recognizable and fell in love with the inhabitants of the city.

Despite the diversity of the various sources of world culture, the Ukrainians created their own, unique to any other, distinctive culture. The culture of Ukraine reflects the uniqueness of the spiritual world of the people, the environment of its nature and the specifics of traditions and customs. Ukrainian folk traditions are an embodiment of the character of the people in their everyday life, the rules that accompany a person from birth to death and are transferred from grandfathers to grandchildren for more than one hundred years.

What are the features of Ukrainian character? First of all - it's kindness, hospitality, friendliness. And also - respect for women, the elderly, to the memory of the deceased ancestors. A special love for children, animals, nature. Ukrainians have a wonderful sense of humor, artistry and singing as well as their talent for creating artwork - embroidering and weaving, drawing, carving and pottery - that have always decorated Ukrainians' lives from time immemorial.

For many centuries the culture of Ukraine developed as a people's culture. Peasants, artisans, Cossacks - have become real creators and bearers of culture. A great place in it was occupied by oral folklore (songs, fairy tales, bylinas, legends, proverbs and sayings), folk dances, arts and crafts.

Ukrainian language and literature are also very rich. Ukrainian writers and poets are loved all over the world. The works of the most famous poet and artist Taras Shevchenko have been translated into more than 70 languages.

And even in the most difficult moments of history, Ukrainians cared about the cultural heritage of their ancestors, preserved them for future generations. Therefore, throughout the territory of Ukraine, preserved ancient historical monuments, museums, theaters, art galleries. Cultural life never stops, and in our time talented masters make the life of Ukrainians brighter and more interesting.

On this day there were a lot of spectators on the holiday. Their gaze was presented to the exhibition of folk and applied art, folk songs, and all treated the national caravan. In the performance of the vocal groups "Svitanok", "Smereka", "Lastik", as well as choral singers, beautiful and melodious songs sounded. His talents were also appreciated by the students of the National Revival School named after Kanat Darzhuman who did not stand aside and demonstrated their skills. On the last note, the choral collective of the public association, completed the festival with a beautiful song "My Kazakhstan".
