DAYS OF BELARUSIAN CULTURE

Our Republic of Kazakhstan is a multinational country. More than 130 nationalities live here. Thanks to the wise policy of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, every nation has the right to speak in their native language and develop their culture, their traditions, respecting the culture and traditions of other peoples, living in peace and harmony.

Today, every people of our country protect its ancient traditions. One of these peoples are Belarusians. With the support of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and Mangistau region KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" in the gymnasium №4 Aktau held an event in honor of the Belarusian culture and the 135th anniversary of the great poet of the Belarusian people - Yanka Kupala.

The event was opened anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was attended by the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, the secretariat, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, teachers and students. The festive program filled with folk songs and dances, was sounded a musical instruments of the Belarusian people, were revealed traditions and customs. Guests were treated to national dishes. Products of folk artists also were exhibited.

In addition, guests got acquainted with the biography of Yanka Kupala. Participants read his poems. Verses of Yanka Kupala imbued with love for his people and for nature and pain for the oppression of the Belarusian people. The poet expresses the hope that the Belarusian people will gain their freedom and independence.

Chairman of Belarusian ethnocultural association - Galina Huseynova: "Under the blue sky in peace to live as one whole family - is the main policy of our multinational state, which is headed by wise leader, our President N.A. Nazarbayev."
