Our Republic of Kazakhstan is a multinational country. More than 130 nationalities live here. Thanks to the wise policy of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, every nation has the right to speak in their native language, develop it and their culture, their traditions, respecting the culture and traditions of other peoples, living in peace and harmony.

And today every people of our republic protects its ancient traditions. One of such people is the Belarusians. October 21 this year, the Belarusian ethno-cultural association with the support of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan Mangistau region and KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" in the college of tourism of the city of Aktau held an event "Days of Culture of Belarus in Kazakhstan".

The purpose of this event is the education of the civil and moral position of students, the upbringing of Kazakhstan's patriotism.

The event was attended by the secretariat of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, teachers and students.

Folk songs and dances were performed in the festive program. The students played the musical instruments of the Belarusian people. They showed traditions and customs. Guests were treated to national dishes. Also poems by Abai Kunanbayev, Yanka Kupala, Abish Kekilbaev were heard.

"Under the blue sky in peace and tranquility live like one whole family - this is the main policy of our multinational state, headed by a wise leader, our President N.A. Nazarbayev, "said Galina Aleksandrovna Huseynova, chairman of the Belarusian ethno-cultural association.
