On October 17, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Darkhan Mynbay met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Administration of the Republic of Poland - the Repatriation Commissioner Sebastian Khvalek.

The event was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Kazakhstan Selim Khazbievich, Director of Citizenship and Repatriation Department of MVD Poland Marek Zelinsky, representatives of the APK and the media.

Within the framework of the meeting, the issues of Kazakhstan and Poland were discussed in the field of ensuring public accord, interaction and implementation of policies in the field of interethnic relations, organization of interaction, assistance in organizing various activities to strengthen public harmony.

Darkhan Mynbay said in his welcome speech: "This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Poland. ng these years, good partnership relations and dialogue in all spheres have been established between our countries. Of course, trade relations and economic cooperation are priorities. All this contributes to the building of warm mutually beneficial relations between our states. Today in Kazakhstan there are over 100 enterprises with the participation of Polish capital".

He also noted that the Union of Poles of Kazakhstan operates in our country, which has branches in all regions of the republic. "The Polish language is studied in Sunday schools. We are also connected by the exchange of student youth. More than 800 Kazakhstani students study in Poland. This is facilitated by an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of education. Deepens the relationship in this area, as well as other branches that will allow us to get to know each other.

Cultural exchange between our countries will allow us to learn more about each other. In turn, the State Secretary of MVD and the administration of the Republic of Poland noted that Kazakhstan is an important partner for Poland. And the Republic of Poland is interested in developing cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan.
