Today in the building of the House of Friendship took place the results of the exhibition of contemporary decorative and applied art dedicated to EXPO -2017. 12 master workers from 5 different ethno-cultural associations took part in the exhibition. There are over 80 items of souvenirs representing the multi-ethnic culture of our region were presented.

Amankul Dzhantayeva (Public Association "Kazakh Cultural Center "Holy grandfather") presented to the exhibition souvenir dolls, braided beads in national costumes and interior textiles made in the "cane" technique. Elmira Dzhantaeva (Public Association "Kazakh Cultural Center "Holy grandfather") presented a pile multi-colored carpet with the image of the mausoleum "Aisha-bibi", the beloved historical monument of Zhambyl region. Natalia Kalnitskaya (Public Association "Ukrainian Cultural Center "Dnepro") demonstrated author's charming ethnic textile dolls. And also Gulnara Kotyrova, Tamara Kuzembaeva, Saule Musaeva, Victoria Maykovich, Elena Medvedskaya, Marina Mishanova, Gulnar Tazhieva, Diana Shaikheslyamova, Tatiana Shinkareva, etc., also presented at the exhibition. Each of them is sewn and dressed in knitted and embroidered clothes with various accessories, revealing and emphasizing the individual character and emotions.

All participants of the exhibition were awarded with diplomas and exhibition catalogs.
