November 15, 2017 in the Museum of History of Almaty hosted an exhibition of the Ukrainian Cultural Center.

The event was attended by the chairman of the Ukrainian Cultural Center Agapova T.A., deputy chairman of the APK of Almaty, Chairman of the Ossetian cultural enlightenment center "Irnihas" Mamsurov K.V., director KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" office akima city Almaty Murunova Zh.Sh., chairman of the Belarusian ethno-cultural center Voiytsiehovskiiy A.N., head of the department of KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" of Akim of Almaty city Shanin B.K., the chairman of the Afghan center "Ariana" Ahmadulla Vastok, youth, representatives of the media and others.

Traditional clothes, musical instruments, etc. representing the Ukrainian culture were exhibited. In addition, the exhibition was performed by creative figures of the cultural center. Traditional Ukrainian songs and dances were performed. After the concert program, the visitors of the museum, among whom were foreign guests, children and others, could get acquainted with the exhibition.

Recall that exhibitions of ethno-cultural associations are held regularly. At the moment, there have been exhibitions of Chechen, Russian, Buryat, Afghan, Ossetian, Crimean Tatar, Belorussian and other ethno-cultural associations, where residents and guests of the southern capital got acquainted with the culture and way of life of the ethnic groups inhabiting our city. In the plans of the museum, together with the KGU "Kogamdyk kelіsim" of the apparatus of the city akim, the presentation of the cultures of all 34 ECOs of Almaty.
