Expanded meeting of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana

The meeting was attended by members of the Mothers Council under the ANC of Astana and representatives of non-profit organizations.

The main tasks of the Council of Mothers is to promote the realization of the goal of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in ensuring public harmony and national unity by strengthening the institutions of family and motherhood, as well as implementing measures to cultivate family values.

Speaking about common tasks, the Chairperson of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the Kazakhstan People of Astana, moderator, Nizamutdinova YA, highlighted the issues of formation and upbringing of Kazakhstani patriotism, civil and spiritual identity of the people of Kazakhstan, tolerant relationships in society, preservation of the continuity of generations and respect To national traditions, family values.

During the extended meeting, a film was presented on the activity of the Ana үyi Public Foundation, telling about a charity project organized to prevent social orphanhood and reduce the number of children who fall into orphanages every year.

The participant of the expanded meeting of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana, executive director, BMMakhmetova. Told about the aspects of the Ana үyi Public Foundation: "Mama's House" is a network of crisis centers for women who are late in pregnancy and with newborns who find themselves in a difficult life situation. The desire to reduce the number of orphans in the Republic of Kazakhstan, was transformed into the opening of crisis centers for homeless mothers called Mother's House in all regions of the country. In the "Mother's Homes", women who initially decided to abandon their child and make a huge mistake in life will have time and opportunity to weigh and think, feel the happiness of motherhood in an atmosphere of understanding. Developing the work on the prevention of orphanhood, we came to the need to create Centers for Assistance in Adoption and Schools of foster parents who provide information and consulting services to the population in matters of adoption. " Also, the executive director mentioned the international experience of preventing orphanhood.

Inerbaeva SM, the chairman of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Saryarkinsky district of the city of Astana, in her speech, noted the theme of the culture of upbringing and respect in the family. "Increasing the responsibility of parents for the upbringing of the physical and spiritual and moral generation, conducting public education work with children of school age, developing talents and skills in the future generation, orientation to learning and getting a profession is the main guarantee for the prosperity of our state," noted Inerbaeva S. M.

As a result of the event, several proposals were made:

  1. To develop further cooperation of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Astana and the Public Fund "Ana үyi";
  2. Further support and development of public initiatives aimed at cultivating a positive image of the family and motherhood;
  3. The organization of an outreach, meetings of the Council of Mothers at the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the city of Astana in the training sessions of the capital;
  4. To hold a thematic lecture for representatives of youth wings of ethno-cultural associations of Astana city and invited listeners.
