The Taraz State University named after M.H.Dulati hosted a scientific and practical conference on the theme "EXPO-2017: New Opportunities for the World Economy." The event was attended by heads of internal policy departments of the mayors of the regions and Taraz, members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, representatives KSU "Public contracts" of mayor of Zhambyl region, teachers of universities and colleges, students, undergraduates, representatives of ethno-cultural associations, youth organizations of the region.

It is known that from the 10-th of June to the 10-th of September, 2017, in Astana will be the International Specialized Exhibition "EXPO-2017" under the slogan "Energy of the Future". At this exhibition, participating countries will demonstrate achievements and prospects in the field of renewable energy sources and their advantages, such as environmental cleanliness, low operating costs and environmental friendliness. For Kazakhstan, EXPO-2017 will become a landmark event: never before has an international exhibition of similar scale been held in the countries of the Central Asian region and the CIS. Naturally, it will have an impact on all regions, on all citizens of Kazakhstan.

In this regard, the responsible workers of the mayors, representatives of the scientific community, the public and the media of the region discussed the ways in which this international significance event can be used for the development of the Zhambyl region.

In his speech, the rector TarSU named after M.H.Dulati, Sarybekov M.N. stopped on issues of influence of EXPO-2017 on the formation and use of new opportunities for the development of both the world economy and the economy of Kazakhstan.

The tendencies of the world practice in the use of alternative energy in the world, the experience of Kazakhstan in creating the legislative base, practical steps in the republic and Zhambyl region on the development of "green energy", assessment of achievements and prospects, were covered in the report of the head of the ANC chair Mammadova Parada Imanzhanovna.

Director of the Department of Science and New Technologies TarGU Doctor of Science, Professor, and Member of the ANG ANK Bekbasarov I.I. spoke about the role of renewable energy sources, the importance of using production wastes as factors in the development of innovative energy.

The problems of determining the place of Kazakhstan in the evolutionary processes taking place in the world are covered in the speech of the associate professor of the department "History of Kazakhstan" of TarSU Bactatorova S.U.

And the director of the tourist company "Golden Caravan" Veymer A. examined specific issues of development of the tourism industry of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the preparation and holding of Expo 2017 in her report.
