November 11, 2016 at the Palace of Peace and Accord was held an enlarged meeting of the Board of Public Assembly of People of Kazakhstan approval.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Yeraly Tugzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Majilis Vladimir Bozhko, the deputies of the Majilis, representatives of state bodies, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, ethno-cultural associations and the media.

The work of the Council was also attended by Head of the Federal Agency for the Affairs of Nationalities of the Russian Federation Igor Barinov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Kazakhstan Mikhail Bocharnikov, as well as members of the Russian delegation - representatives of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia and members of the Federal Agency for Nationalities.

Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan Leonid Prokopenko said in his speech that the social consensus - this is an important tool for creating the conditions for implementation of the Plan of the nation and national patriotic ideas "Mangilik El", as well as raising the level of citizen participation in the country's modernization. Today the Council of public consent - is the republican council of civic participation in the broadest sense of the word. "This is an institution of education civic duty liability. This is the formation of Kazakhstan identity on the principle of citizenship, "- he stressed.

The meeting examined experience of public councils APK agreement, the outcome of the APK parliamentary group in the Majilis and other issues.
