November 29, 2016, Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan G.N.Abdykalikova took part in an expanded meeting of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the APK - the head of the Secretariat E.L.Tugzhanov, Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament, members of the Assembly, public figures, and representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia.

In her speech Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that independence was the year of the adoption of the Patriot Act for us "Mangilik El", the institutional strengthening of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the implementation of its new functional areas. This year, the approval of the system boards of public consent and mediation of the APK, the implementation of republican project "Big Country - Big Family" and large-scale charity projects APK.

The meeting discussed the achievements of the country during the years of independence under the leadership of Leader of the Nation - First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, his role in the development of Kazakhstan's model of social cohesion and national unity.
