In the city of Atyrau, the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Atyrau region with the support of KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the akim of the region organized a festival "Borders do not share the hearts of people".

Within the framework of the festival, under the chairmanship of the deputy akim of the region A.Nautiev and with the participation of delegations from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Azerbaijan and Georgia, a round table was held in the hall of the meeting of the regional akimat on the topic: "Ethnocultural policy in the border region. Problems and prospects".

The event was attended by guests from the near abroad - Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Russian Federation, the leaders of the ethnic and cultural announcements of the APK of the Atyrau region, youth wings, the chairmen of the councils of social harmony and mother councils, the APK chairs, members of the APK research group and representatives of the media.

Participants of the round table noted that a favorable climate for cooperation in all spheres of economy and social life - in business, culture, education, medicine, sports, was created in our region, as well as throughout the country. They also talked about the development of contacts between youth organizations to solve problems in the field of youth policy, how to preserve universal, spiritual and moral values, and about fruitful cooperation with state bodies and non-governmental organizations.

As a result of the round tables, recommendations were adopted, which, inter alia, indicated that the role of ethno-cultural interaction in modern times is an important factor in maintaining stability and balance in society and in relations between states.

In the afternoon, on the stage of the regional dramatic theater them. Makhambet Utemisova the festival of creative collectives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Russian Federation began. The audience got acquainted with the songs and dance traditions of neighboring polyethnic regions.
