The holiday was held in the palace of public consent "Kogamdy kelіsim". Its organizers were activists of the association of the Poles and its youth wing, headed by Lyudmila Suhovetsek.

Performed by the winners of the republican contest of readers and participants of the international competition "Kresy-2017", lines from the works of famous Polish authors were heard. Guests of the North-Kazakhstan region and Akmola region visited the poetry evening.

The event was held in honor of St. Mikolai's day, so no one was left without a present: all participants, as well as activists and good friends received valuable prizes from the chairman of the association of Poles of Akmola region Alexander Suhovetskiy.

In his speech, he noted that the mighty language of art was understandable without translation to each viewer. The most remarkable thing is that living on the blessed land of Kazakhstan, each ethnos has the opportunity to show its culture, traditions and speak its own language.
