To date, all the Turkic-speaking peoples have lived in peace and harmony for many centuries. The Turkic people exceed more than 300 million. This is the story of 17 empires and hundreds of states that left a notable mark on world history and culture. It is the Hun Empire, the Turkic Kaganatу, the Kyrgyz Kaganatу, the Ottoman Empire, the Kazakh Khanate, the State of the Sephibians, the Bulgarian State and many others.

The festival of Turkic-speaking peoples was held in the House of Friendship of Petropavlovsk with the aim of mutual enrichment of cultures, promotion of interethnic and intercultural cooperation and dialogue through the culture of Turkic-speaking peoples. The festival was attended by the Kazakh, Tatar, Azerbaijani, Kyrgyz, Turkish ethno-cultural centers of the North Kazakhstan Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan. In the foyer, an exhibition of the attributes of the Turkic culture unfolded, and young people from the ethno cultural centers of the SKO ANC demonstrated a variety of dishes.

The festival collected songs in Tatar, Turkish, colorful Kazakh, Azerbaijani dances as well as verses of various Turkic-speaking peoples. Especially memorable was the number of folklore ensemble "Story". The sounds of “dombra” and “kobyz” have merged into one and moved spectators into distant spacious steppes, the lands of our ancestors. After an intense concert program, the organizers treated the guests to national dishes.

Thanks to Nazarbayev's foreign policy proposals, the idea of ​​Turkic rapprochement is gaining new impetus and content. In the perception of the Turkic world, Kazakhstan is implementing the most important function of a civilized bridge between Europe and Asia. In this respect, the unique Kazakhstani experience of constructing a model of interethnic and inter-confessional consent can and should be used in the space of the Turkic world.

In whatever Turkic language the greeting does not sound, we understand each other. Because we have “One country - One people - One destiny!”
