On September 2, a joint festive concert of Uzbek, Uyghur and Kyrgyz ethno-cultural associations took place in the city park of culture and recreation, within the framework of the festival "We Live in a Single Family". At the festival, the city's residents, representatives of the regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, as well as the chairmen of ethno-cultural associations gathered.

Throughout the summer, every weekend, in the city park, the ANC of the Pavlodar region, acquainted residents and visitors with the traditions and customs of their people, gave a concert program, and just a good mood. On this day, this baton was taken by the Uzbek, Kyrgyz and Uyghur ethno-cultural associations. Their traditions and customs are similar in many respects, every striving generation is always revered by every ethnic group, anyone, even an occasional visitor to their house, is considered an honored guest, and the abundance of national dishes can only be envied.

Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Pavlodar region Zhetpysbaev Seisembay Kalizhanovich made a welcoming speech and congratulated the residents and chairmen of ethno-cultural associations on the day of culture. He noted the work of the centers at a high level and wished creative success and prosperity.

And for the audience not only to listen, but also to learn, quizzes were conducted with them on the knowledge of the culture of the Kyrgyz, Uzbek, Uygur peoples. The most active participants were encouraged by small souvenirs.

Pavlodar also had the opportunity to see beautiful dresses in elegant dances, which convey all the traditions, customs and beauties of these peoples.

Not every nation can boast of such colorful and amazing outfits and ethnic costumes like the Uighurs. Therefore, the organizers of the event told the audience about the national headgear, which is called - Dopa, which has several varieties. The first variant is distinguished by its colorful and delicate work, the patterns are embroidered with gold and silver threads and decorated with multi-colored beads. Such bright caps are preferred mainly by young people.

The second species - "badam" - got its name from the fruits of almonds growing in the desert and imported once from Persia. Dopa "badam", characterized by a gentle coloring of austerity and simplicity, is usually worn by elderly people. Patterns on dopa are extruded in a variety of ways: smooth, cross, tambour. Not surprisingly, it also serves as an excellent piece of applied art. By the great holidays, skilful Uigurks diligently dilute the dopa, quite a few, and such that hang elegant dopa on the walls of the room or are presented as gifts to friends and guests of honor.

Few people guess that in ancient times, Uighurs, Kirghiz and Uzbeks, like all Eastern peoples, hospitality was the life principle, their culture, traditions, customs and national dishes are similar, and this holiday from the Uzbek, Uighur and Kirghiz communities for invited guests were cooked a traditional treat - pilaf, everyone treated this dish without exception.

Our President, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in his article "Looking to the Future: Modernizing the Public Consciousness" proposed the development of the "Touchan Zher" program. On June 6, 2017, the NGO "Kyrgyz" held a competition among the participants of the summer camp of the K. Darjumana National Revival School 30 pupils from 5 to 15 took part in the competition in their drawings.They show the nature of Kazakhstan, the peaceful sky, flowering meadows, birds, all pictures are very bright and executed with love to their homeland. He touched the hearts of the jury members, and choose the best job it was impossible, so they decided to encourage all participants in the contest.

The chairman of the jury, the chairman of the regional Kyrgyz ECO, Oruzbaev Bolatbek Abdievich, rewarded 16 active participants of the contest with gifts.

On this festive note and against the backdrop of the beautiful dance "Yumlak" performed by the dancing ensemble "Efrishim", the holiday ended.
