The youth of Almaty met the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Yelbassy Nursultan Nazarbayev at the airstair to thank him for his constant care and comprehensive support, as well as for his invaluable contribution to the formation of independent Kazakhstan.

President was met with flowers by two thousand Almaty students under the aegis of G-38 student organization uniting all higher educational institutions of the city.

Coming down the stairs, Nursultan Nazarbayev personally thanked the youth for the unexpected and warm welcome.

The first President of Kazakhstan emphasized the important role of the young generation in the development of the state.

—You are happy people: you study in such a beautiful city, live in such a beautiful and world-famous country. Kazakhstan is our homeland. Our duty is to preserve our independence. I wish everyone good health and success in the future," Nursultan Nazarbayev said to the youth.
