«I will hear the world in which I live...»

"The world in which I live" - ​​under this name was the opening of the exposition of students with disabilities of the building and technical college No.1 in Kokshetau, within the walls of the Palace of Public Accord.

The organizer of the exhibition was the Association of Masters of Folk Decorative and Applied Creativity of KSU "Public contracts" under the mayer of Akmola region administration, Akmola Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

On the basis of the college, which is a resource center for inclusive education, in the framework of the social project, training of children with hearing impairment in such specialties as "Catering" and "Decorative and applied arts and crafts" is organized.

The main goal of the project is to get children with disabilities a profession, giving them self-confidence, motivating them to learn along with other students.

Opened in the school in 2014, the specialty "Decorative and applied arts and crafts" for the qualification "Manufacturer of art products from wood" made it possible for children with disabilities not only to obtain a profession with further employment, but also to feel surrounded by caring teachers and the circle Close-knit classmates a full-fledged creative personality. And a proof that these students are talented not only as future professionals of arts and crafts, but also as artists, is a touching concert program, which they presented to the audience. The song "Mother" in their performance and the anthem of the chorus of deaf-mute children forced involuntarily to catch their breath, and a lump rolled up her throat. Listeners could hardly restrain tears in their eyes.

Successfully mastering the course program and actively taking part in the public life of the college, they are participants in thematic exhibitions, competitions of city, regional and republican levels.

For example, Erbol Uazirov is the bronze medalist of the Delphic Games, and Andrei Filonov and Nurbolat Musabaev are the owners of the first place of the regional contest "Gift for EXPO". Students of this specialty are regular participants of the republican charity event of the Akmola Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan "From Heart to Heart".

Along with the creative work of the students of the college, the works of the masters of the industrial training of the building-technical college №1 of the city of Kokshetau Galina Yesetova, Umut Zhakasheva and Olzhas Akhmetov were also presented in the exhibition hall of KSU "Public contracts".

Let the world in which students with disabilities of Kokshetau STK №1 live will be bright, kind, sympathetic and will give them colossal opportunities for their further prosperity in life!
