- With the acquisition of sovereignty with great force began to break the lifting wave of national consciousness, referring to their national roots, language revival, ethnic traditions, living in Kazakhstan. Almost from the outset of activities of the young Republic in the center of public policy has been a revival of spiritual values ​​and the formation of tolerance between people of different ethnic groups and religions.

First of all, to the protection of this policy was put RK Constitution, which proclaimed such vital principles such as the primacy of law, social stability as the basis of a just solution of the national question, the strengthening of state independence and an active integration policy. Largely due to these principles, based on the account, and a judicious combination of the interests of all ethnic groups in Kazakhstan, equality of citizens, preservation and development of their cultural and linguistic space made possible the development of conflict-free international relations throughout the period of the formation of the republic's independence.

This achievement is especially bright against the background of the numerous wars and conflicts on ethnic grounds, accompanying the development of the world throughout the twentieth century and acquired dangerous proportions at the beginning of the XXI century in the context of the global economic and geopolitical crisis.
