Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan - Head of the ANC Secretariat Darkhan Mynbay, Head of the International Project "Conversations on the Silk Road", cultural expert, public figure Murat Auezov, poet, People's writer of Kazakhstan, public figure, diplomat Olzhas Suleimenov, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the event. , representatives of government agencies, creative and humanitarian intellectuals of the countries of Central Asia, Russia and China, international experts, members of the ANC and ethno-cultural unities.

Darkhan Mynbay said in his speech: "Today, we are opening the next, 11th" Conversations ", which are already the 11th time they gather intellectuals from the countries of the Central Asian region. It is very pleasant to understand that the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan contributes to the fact that representatives of intellectual elites have the opportunity to meet regularly and in the form of an open, confidential conversation, discuss the pressing problems of the countries of Central Asia, and look for ways to solve them. During its existence, "Conversations", which began in the format of small meetings, where they discussed topical problems of society, have become a significant dialogue platform in the Central Asian region. One can confidently say that today the dreams and ideas voiced at the first "Conversations" are embodied, and the project went out into the vastness of the entire Silk Road. "

During the conference, the topics of global challenges of modern times, the search for preventive measures and algorithms for eliminating crisis and conflict situations were discussed, taking into account the past experience of the peoples and the peacekeeping traditions of the Great Silk Road.

Also within the framework of the conference were exhibitions of book rarities from the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a panel discussion on "Peacemaking in the history and modernity of the Great Silk Road".

The conference was organized by the National Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan for UNESCO and ISESCO, RGKP "State Museum" Center for the Rapprochement of Cultures ", M. Auezov's Scientific Cabinet, Public Foundation" Social Consortium of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan ".

The international culturological project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan "Talks on the Silk Road" is held annually since 2007 with the participation of the countries of the Central Asian region.

The aim of the project is to promote the revival and strengthening of all-round ties between the countries and peoples of the Central Asian region.

The events are held in the form of an open, confidential conversation, with an analysis of the main problems and the search for their solutions.

I, II, III seminars of the project "Talks on the Silk Road" were devoted to the harmonization of interethnic relations in Kazakhstan, IV - strengthening of cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, V, VI - understanding regional self-identification of the peoples of Central Asia on the basis of the closeness of history and spirituality, VII - awareness of the peacekeeping focus of the project and development of appropriate practical recommendations, VIII - integration processes in the Central Asian region, IX - 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate and the 20th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan , X - solidarity and agreement among the peoples of Central Asia.

Since 2013, the General Secretaries of the National Commissions for UNESCO of the Central Asian countries participate in the seminar.

Famous scientists of Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan take part in the project.
