The main issues on the agenda were: actual problems in the sphere of the region's ecology, prevention of religiously motivated extremism, reports on the activities of the Mendykarinsky, Denisovsky, and Altynsarinsky districts.

During the meeting, the chairman of the regional council Serous Irina Ivanovna noted that the inclusion of Soviets of public consent at all levels in the work on countering extremism is the task of the President of Kazakhstan, given at the 25th session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.

In turn, the head of the department for religious affairs Umbetov Zhanbolat Zhumabaevich told about his vision of the role of the Soviets in preventive work to prevent the spread of destructive religious ideology. According to him, the main tasks of information and explanatory activities in the sphere of religion are to raise the level of religious and legal literacy of the population, as well as to strengthen inter-confessional stability in society.

The participants of the meeting unanimously noted that these tasks are correlated with the tasks of the Soviets for ensuring public control and preserving the unity of the Kazakh people.

Thus, the joint work of the Councils of Public Consent and Administration on Religious Affairs will be continued.

During the meeting, the re-election of the chairman of the regional Council of public consent was held. The unanimous decision of those who voted the new chairman was Aleksandra Ilyinichna Suslov's well-known public figure, teacher and writer.
