Every year, all ethnic groups living in our republic celebrate the Day of Languages. Most ethnic groups have schools where children are taught in their own language, and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in turn provides them with cultural and spiritual support.

By the Day of Languages ​​of the People of Kazakhstan in the KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of akim of Zhambyl region, a contest was held to write an essay in the state language on the theme "Kazakhstan is our common home". It is worth noting that the Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan for the first time is holding such an event aimed at extolling our language. It was attended by 32 representatives of different ethnic groups who speak Kazakh. Among them were students of the following colleges: Polytechnic, Medical, "Bolashak", "Aspara", "Parasat" and students of secondary schools in the city. Under the terms of the competition, participants had to clearly state their thoughts in 1 hour without the help of additional gadgets and cheat sheets.

And the written works were checked by experienced teachers of the Kazakh language and literature from city schools and gymnasiums. Evaluating all the essays, they rewarded the distinguished children with diplomas of 1,2,3 degrees, letters of thanks and valuable gifts. The jury chairman Dan Zhunisova congratulated all the winners in her speech and thanked them for their participation. In addition, all teachers especially noted the work of the pupil of the 11th grade of school No 41, the Russian girl Valeria Mikhailova.

After reading her work, we also agreed with the judges. Valeria began her essay with the words of the President and explained her idea clearly and consistently.

"Kazakhstan is our common home. Why is it common? In my opinion, firstly, this is because despite the huge number of ethnic groups living in our country, we live in peace and harmony. Secondly, the history of our ancestors is general. And thirdly, the independence that unites us all has been achieved through the work and efforts of every resident, "the schoolgirl believes.

In turn, the staff of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Zhambyl oblast noted that the competition was held at a high level and in the future they will often hold such events.
