July 20, 2017 in Astana in the Wyndham Garden Astana hosted the Kazakh-Korean Cooperation Forum, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Koreans in Kazakhstan and the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.

The Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan in the period of the International exhibition EXPO-2017, in support of the program of modernization of public consciousness Ruhani Jahniru, invited to Astana about 200 entrepreneurs from more than 10 countries (Vietnam, Germany, Spain, Canada, Colombia, Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Korea , Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Japan, etc.) for acquaintance with perspective programs of Kazakhstan and search of partners from the Kazakhstan businessmen.

The purpose of the forum is the organization of a permanent communication and information platform for interaction between Kazakh and foreign Korean entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan D. Mynbay, members of the Parliament of Kazakhstan RK, members of the ANC, representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Agency "KAZNEX", Kazakhstan Center for Public-Private Partnerships, NPP "ATAMEKEN", Agency On trade and investment of the Republic of Korea "KOTRA".

Within the framework of the Forum there were meetings of the Network of Korean Businessmen "YBLN" and the Association of Korean Business Clubs of the CIS countries OKBK, which brings together more than 200 entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.

On the second day of the Forum, foreign participants will visit the International Expo EXPO-2017, where they will be able to expand their business contacts when visiting the pavilions of the countries participating in the exhibition.

The organizers of the event are the NGO "Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan" with the support of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan, the Foundation for Foreign Koreans Support, and the Agency for Trade and Investment Promotion of the Republic of Korea "KOTRA".
