September 29 this year in the House of Friendship hosted the language festival "Ana tilim – aybınım" among representatives of different ethnic groups living in Zhambyl region. It is worth noting that all of them are fluent in the state language. And the organizers were the assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Zhambyl region and the Department for the development of the regional akimat's languages.

The purpose of the event is to expand the scope of the state language, to promote the status and support the development of the native languages ​​of different ethnic groups in the region.

The festival was attended by representatives of ethno-cultural associations of the region, teachers, students and representatives of the media.

Head of the Office for the Development of Languages ​​Sulushash Kurmanbekova opened the festival with a welcome speech and awarded participants who are actively working to expand the scope of the state language.

The festival began with the national dance of the Kazakh people and continued with the composition "Mother's Desire", which through the theatrical performance showed friendship and peace in our country.

A guest of honor, a member of the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan, well-known journalist Makulbek Rysdaulet, in his turn, congratulated the participants of the festival on this significant holiday.

In addition, young talents of Russian, Korean, German, Ukrainian, Uzbek, Jewish, Dungan, Tatar, Chinese and Azerbaijani ethno-cultural associations performed the song "The official language is my language".

At the end of the forum, the artists of the Zhambyl regional philharmonic performed the song "Dostik", personifying the friendship of the people of Kazakhstan, who lives in peace and harmony under one shanyrak.
