In the first of December, Kazakhstan celebrates a national holiday - Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1 December 1991, our country had elected its first President as a result of national elections. Since this date there is a counting of the history of the Republic’s independence.

The conference hall of the House of Friendship held the round table dedicated to the life and activity of the First President of Kazakhstan, N.A. Nazarbayev.

The event was held to show the results of the Leader of the Nation policy, through which the whole world knows established and independent Kazakhstan,.

At the round table it was noted that all of today's achievements of our country for the political stability strengthening, effective economic reforms, recognition in the international arena and increase in the citizens welfare are an evidence of well-targeted domestic and foreign policy of the first President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

With the name of the President of the country, Kazakhstan people associate stabilizing and modernizing the country’s economy, improving living quality and standards of the Kazakhstan people, building the foundations of the rule of law and civil society, creating conditions for the realization of human rights and freedoms in society, preserving and strengthening the interethnic and interreligious harmony.
