We are the product of our history. And we are its only heirs and guardians.

The values accumulated by ancestors, the historical wealth of folk traditions and culture are invisibly laid down for centuries in us with mother's milk, with the first sounds of the native language, with the first experience of communication with the surrounding world.

History determines our centuries-old historical patterns of behavior, which persistently manifest themselves today, despite all the global standards and achievements of scientific and technological progress. In fact, this is our national character, which we are proud of, which we show in each of our actions and words.

But history also depends on how we perceive, understand and feel it.

Holistic perception of history forms an integral nation, formulates its values, understanding of the place in the world, as well as its new tasks in the historical perspective.

And publication of the article of the President of Kazakhstan, Elbassy Nursultan Nazarbayev "Seven facets of the Great steppe", which put the issue of modernization of historical consciousness on the agenda, it is an important, timely and absolutely natural step in the spiritual modernization of society.
