On the 30-th of March in 2017, in the business center "Marzhan" took place the meeting of the deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan and representatives of the capital's ethno-cultural associations for joint discussion of tasks and topical issues in the activities of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

Members of the Moscow ANC, representatives of the Scientific Expert Group, the Council of Public Accord, and the Council of Mothers took part in the discussion.

During the event, the deputy group visited 11 offices of ethno-cultural centers, which located in the business center "Marzhan"; deputies got acquainted with the activities of ECO, the conditions of their activities.

The main part of the meeting was held in the briefing format, which touched the issues of increasing the role of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in solving urgent problems of social development, discussed the main directions for ensuring effective cooperation of the Parliament of the Republic with the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, state bodies and institutions of civil society in the sphere of harmonization of interethnic and interreligious relations.

The deputy head of the ANC deputy group, Timoshenko Y.E., told about the work and achievements, as well as about the future plans of the ANC deputy group, who noted that this year the deputy group plans to hear the relevant ministries on the implementation of the national project to strengthen the civil identity "My country», the implementation of the national project "The Trinity of Languages", the information support and implementation of the "Five Institutional Reforms".

Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bozhko B.K. commented about the key directions of solving urgent issues of social development, stressing that the ANC deputy group made amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where the responsibility was increased not only for inciting interethnic but also interfaith discontent, because these are the two components on which the civil peace and the consent of our country are held. "Now we have laws that will strengthen the role of Parliament as an instrument of feedback between people, voters and the executive. Thus, you will have an opportunity to decide and put on the agenda those issues that are relevant for you, through us, representatives of the Assembly "he said.

For representatives of ethno cultural associations were also given the opportunity to ask the deputies questions of interest to them, express their recommendations and proposals.

The meeting was summed up by Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Mynbay D.K., who noted that today there are specific goals and objectives. The deputy group is actively involved in the solution of these issues, in the future, productive work awaits everyone and it is necessary to systematize the organization of such meetings to achieve important goals.
