June 16, 2017 in the House of Friendship consisted of an expanded meeting of the Public Harmony Council and members of the Club of Journalists of the ANC of Atyrau region on the implementation of projects listed in the article "The Future: Modernization of Public Consciousness" by N.Nazarbayev.

The organizer of the event was KSU "Kogamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of akim of Atyrau region.

Leaders and members of ethnocultural associations, chairmen and members of the Public Harmony Council, members of the Club of Journalists, district experts of KSU "Kogamdy-Kelisim" and representatives of the media took part in the event.

The issues and instructions given by the Head of State at the XXV Session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, which was held in the city of Astana on April 26, 2017, and the instructions given by the head of the region at the ХХІ session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Atyrau region were discussed.

In the course of the report, the senior expert of the scientific-expert department of KSU "Kokamdyk kelisim" of the apparatus of the Akim of Atyrau region S.Abilov spoke on the topic: "A course towards the future: spiritual renewal".

Z. Talasbekova, acting head of the internal policy department of the Atyrau oblast, spoke about the implementation of the "Touchan zher" ("Native Land") program, proposed in the article "A Look into the Future: Modernizing the Public Consciousness".

"Spiritual renewal is an ideological renewal, as the President noted, and therefore work in this direction should be conducted not through traditional forms of round tables, seminars, trainings and concert programs, specific projects should be implemented here. On the basis of this program, every citizen of Kazakhstan can act with his own initiative. For example, the construction of kindergartens, children's playgrounds, equipping with medical equipment, etc. Or, within the framework of the "Zhomart zhurek" ("Generous Heart") program, you can help poor families in rural areas: donate clothes, school supplies to schoolchildren.

Those wishing to provide such support can apply, submit their proposals to the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan or to the Akimat. Such proposals will be considered and will open great opportunities for the implementation of this project. If the program "Touchan zher" ("Native land") will be implemented in each region, it will have a significant impact on the socio-economic development of our country "- concluded her speech ZE Talasbekova.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the Public Consent Council, D. Kulzhanov, spoke about the work of the regional PCC.
