On October 24, 2017, a meeting was held between the Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Darhan Mynbay, and the Director of the Wolf Institute, Dr. Edward Kessler.

During the meeting Kazakhstan model of public accord and interethnic unity was presented. Darkhan Mynbay inostrannnogo informed the guest of the United Kingdom about the history, constitutional status, tasks and the ongoing work of APK to strengthen inter-ethnic harmony, the Assembly of Deputies. Also within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of bilateral cooperation.

In turn, Dr. Edward Kessler noted the positive experience of Kazakhstan in ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all ethnic groups living in the country, as well as assured that the United Kingdom appreciates the experience of the policy pursued by Kazakhstan peace and harmony.

At the end of the meeting, a presentation of the Kazakhstan model of public accord and interethnic unity was held.
