June 28, 2017 in the House of Friendship of Almaty met with journalists, dedicated to the professional holiday of the Day of Communications and Information Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 The round table was attended by members of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, leaders and members of ethnocultural associations in Almaty, chief editors and representatives of ethno-media, youth of ethno-cultural associations in Almaty.

Opening the meeting, the head of the Secretariat of the ANC of Almaty, Balgimbayev NA, said that a special place in the field of ethno-cultural relations is allocated to supporting the development of ICT information and communication resources. 14 ethnic newspapers and magazines work on the information field of Almaty. Newspapers are issued in Korean, Uighur, Turkish, German, Armenian, Kurdish, Polish. Regular broadcasts are broadcast in German, Korean, Uighur, Azerbaijani. Virtually all IVF have their own Internet portals. The Uyghur TV channel "Tanritan" is functioning successfully. The Club of Journalists was established.

With a welcoming speech on behalf of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Vice-Chairman of the ANC Khamedov AM spoke. In his speech, he noted that the modern world is very difficult to imagine without information, and today we pay tribute to the employees of television and radio, periodicals - all those who make our information world rich and rich.

On behalf of ethno-cultural associations, the chairman of the Association of Kurds of Kazakhstan "Barbang" Mirzoev KI, the producer of the program "Menі Kazazstan", Tsoi EA, the chairman of the public association "Kazakhstan society of Dungan" was congratulated by AV Voince, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Uigur Avazi "Asmetov EM, editor-in-chief of the journal" Almaty courier "Polonium" Chervinsky O.Ch., president of the Media Group "Turkel" Khalilova Kh.B., chief editor of the newspapers "Turkel" R.Mashadiev.

All speakers noted that in the media with ethnocultural associations many real masters of their work are working, which make a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the development program of our state, the strengthening and preservation of public accord, friendship and mutual understanding.

Further, for the contribution to the strengthening of friendship and mutual understanding between ethnic groups, the preservation of public consent, the chief editors and journalists of ethno-media were awarded thanksgiving letters of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Almaty.
