On the 11-th of April, 2017, in the conference hall of the House of Friendship, was held a meeting of the Council of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region with the participation of the deputy mayor of the region Zhaksylyk Omar.

The meeting was attended by members of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the Almaty region.

Strengthening of interethnic relations, social and political stability in the region, advocacy of social harmony and national unity are the main goal and objectives

During the meeting were considered the following issues:

І. Organization of the participation of the delegation of Almaty region in the work of the XXV session of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

ІІ. About the prevention of ideas of religious extremism and radicalism.

III. About the implementation of state policy in the sphere of religion in the Almaty region.

ІV. Some questions of the organization of activity of ethno cultural associations and councils of public consent.

V. Miscellaneous

Deputy chairman of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Almaty region, head of the secretariat G.Tursynbai in his statement said: "As you know on the 26-th of April in Astana will take place the 25th anniversary session of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan with the agenda"Stability, unity and harmony is the basis of modernization. From the agenda of the session, one can understand the importance of the position and role of the Assembly as a constitutional body of national unity and public harmony".

Also spoke the deputy chairman of the regional branch of the “Nur Otan” consignment G.Sarybayev, acting head of the regional department for religious affairs K.Omarov, deputy chairman of the branch of the association of the Association of Russian, Slavic and Cossack Organizations L.Kotelnikov.
