On the 7-th of April, 2017, at 4:00 pm in the House of Assembly took place an expanded meeting of the Council of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan WKR.

Heads of regional administrations, mayor of the city of Uralsk and mayors of districts, chairmen of ethno cultural associations and structural subdivisions of ANC WKR, and representatives of the media took part in the work of the council.

According to the agenda, the following issues were considered: Progress in implementation of the action plan for the implementation of the fourth reform "Identity and Unity" of the Mayors of the city of Uralsk, Burlinsk and Zelenovsk districts; About the coordination of the draft Concept for the Development of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in the West Kazakhstan region; Information on the activities of the cabinet of mediation; About the approval of the work plan of the Council of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of the West Kazakhstan region for 2017; About the introduction of changes in the composition of the council of the regional assembly and about the nominees for awards. Also, there was a hearing of the work of the Russian and Tatar ethno-cultural associations on the implementation of the fourth reform "Identity and Unity". The head of the expert-analytical group of the Assembly of Kazakhstan people of the West Kazakhstan region Zhumina A.A. spoke on the topic "About the Harmonization of the Draft Concept for the Development of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan in the West Kazakhstan Region."

«In the course of our work Statistics showed that out of 100% of the population of the Burlinsk district, 98% of people consider themselves residents of a single state, this is a very good indicator for all of us," A.Zhumina noted.

"Today we have considered a wide range of issues. They adopted the concept of development of the regional assembly, approved the composition of the regional assembly, the work plan of the council of the regional assembly, and heard reports on the implementation of the 4th reform. I think that on the basis of the suggestions and comments made, appropriate constructive decisions will be made in the course of the further implementation of the block of directions for the 4th reform. I wish our joint work success and I express confidence that each of us will exert maximum efforts to further strengthen public harmony and unity in the region," said Deputy Chairman of the West Kazakhstan Regional Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan Gaisa Kapakov.
