"Melodies of the Great Steppe"

In the palace of culture "Dostar" at the initiative of the Public Association "Kazakh tili men madenietі" with the support of the Akmola assembly of people of Kazakhstan on the eve of Independence Day of our country in the framework of the program "Ruhani zhangiru" held a musical evening "Melodies of the Great Steppe".

The main goal of the event was the promotion of folk art among the younger generation.

The evening began with a speech by the head of the secretariat of the Akmola Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Maral Dzhakupova, who congratulated everyone on the upcoming Independence Day, noting that from time immemorial songs were for the people a direct source of knowledge that brought people understanding of the beauty of the world and the sublimity of feelings.

Young talents of our region performed on the same stage: students of the Pedagogical College named after Zh. Musin, the College of Culture of Akan Seri, the College of Birzhan Sal, pupils of the school-gymnasium № 3 of the M.Gabdullin in Kokshetau, as well as the well-deserved figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolatbek and Mara Esmukanova, Sarsenbai Khasenov.

It is gratifying that for the first time pupils of the vocal circle were performing in front of the audience under the direction of the deserved artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bisara Makenkizi.

The great scientist, academician Ahmet Zhubanov said: "Kazakh folk songs are close to heart, attract. They were not created in order to pursue the glory, but were written by nature". And it is true.
