Members of the expedition arrived in the Chilean city of Punta Arenas. It is the southernmost city in the world with a population of more than 100 thousand people, and also the southernmost city, situated on the continent.

On December 6 the briefing was held by the company organizing flights to Antarctica ALE (Antarctic logistics expeditions). According to the company's employees, Antarctica is almost sterile place. It is not delivered with any objects and products. A human influence is tried to minimize.

Until December 7, they will be prepared here and glean the necessary equipment for the expedition. Since the route runs through the icy wilderness, the participants have to go skiing on more than 200 kilometers in Antarctica. To get to the Vinson peak, they need 10 days only in one direction. By means of online tracker system for the movement of sportsmen, it can monitor in real-time. This is the last point, before going to Antarctica.

On December 16, participants intend to conquer the Vinson peak and hoist there the national flag of Kazakhstan, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan and the 25 anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
