November 4, 2016 in Taldykorgan in akimat of Almaty region was held the Republican forum of public consent of the Council of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan, "an independent basis - public consent", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan.

The forum was attended by the State of Kazakhstan Secretary – Gulshara Abdykalykova, Vice-President of the APC Yeraly Tugzhanov, akim of Almaty region Amandyk Batalov, deputy of Majilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan Bakhytbek Smagul and Yuri Timoshenko, members of the APC and the Council of Public Regions agreement, representatives of government agencies, ethno-cultural associations and the media.

In his greeting to the participants of the forum G.Abdykalikova stressed the importance of the work done by Council of public consent of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan on strengthening and developing the Kazakhstani identity and unity. She also noted that the Council of public consent created at the request of the chairman of the APC - the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev. The aim of community councils is to strengthen stability, civil peace, social cohesion and national unity as the main conditions for the implementation of government reforms.

The Forum was considered experience of the Council of public consent APC Zhambyl, Karaganda and Kostanay regions, the main directions of cooperation with the Council of the Assembly of mothers, institutions of mediation and other issues.

There were worked out proposals aimed at increasing the role of the Council, as a mechanism of social control in the strengthening of social cohesion and unity, as well as in solving urgent problems of the population.

Also at the forum held a round table on the topic: "The regional dimension of the activities of the Council of Public consent of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan: experience, practice, technique." An exhibition of projects of public consent of the Council in various areas and conducted master classes "Basics of mediation", "social consensus Tips and conciliation."
