July 12, 2017 in the building of the House of Friendship held a meeting of the Regional Council of public consent of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the Zhambyl region. It was attended by members of the assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Zhambyl region, members of the Public Consent Council, leaders and activists of ethno-cultural associations, employees of district akimats and representatives of the media.

In the meeting of the Council, the chairman of the Council of Public Accord (SOS) of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of Zhambyl oblast, deputy chairman of the regional branch of the Nur Otan party Shabden Tleumurat was the first to deliver a report on the work of the SOS: "At the XXV session of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Head of State NA Nazarbayev Noted the important role of public consent councils, which became a universal nationwide dialogue platform, an authoritative structure between the authorities and the population, capable of helping people.

At present, there are 175 councils of public consent in the Zhambyl oblast. Of these, 1 at the regional, 2 at the city level, 10 at the district level, 153 at the rural level, and 9 councils in the teams of large enterprises. These are such enterprises as Kazfosfat LLP, Tarazenergo JSC, Kazakhtelecom JSC, GKP Zhambyl Zhylu, State Enterprise Taraz-Su and others. The total number of members of the Public Consent Council is 1025 people, including 33 members at the oblast level, 10 at the city level, 103 at the district level, 812 at the rural level, 67 at the enterprises. "

The Chairman of the SOS emphasized such achievements, as in the current year, the Council for Public Consensus held about 136 events, with a total coverage of more than 5 thousand people.

Also, the work of public reception offices in 75 councils was organized. Twenty-three meetings were held to hear information from the heads of state bodies. Public consent councils, together with local executive bodies, considered topical social problems. On a quarterly basis, public consensus councils discussed issues on strengthening interfaith and interethnic harmony, social support for representatives of various ethnic groups, and resolving domestic disputes.

In all districts of the region, awareness-raising work was carried out on the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amending, Amending and Amending the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Public Accord of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, Head of the Methodical Cabinet of the Administration of Education of Akimat of Zhambyl Oblast, Bigeldi Tazhibaev devoted his report to the topic of forming patriotic education of students in the context of the national idea "Mogilik El". And the chief specialist of the Secretariat of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of the Zhambyl region Ulvuar Babakulova made a report detailing the work of the public consent councils of Zhambyl, Baizak, Talas and Sarysu districts.

At the end of the meeting, the participants exchanged views and made proposals to improve the work of the regional SOS.
