November 16 at the House of Friendship in Almaty held a "round table" Kazakhstan People's Assembly, dedicated to the translation of the Latin script alphabet of the state language, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the problems arising at the end of the extended meeting of the Board of the APK in the light of the modernization of public consciousness and discussion the draft Law "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" On the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan".

Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat of the APK of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan D. Mynbay, Deputy Chairman of the APK A. Khamedov, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the RK, members of the Scientific and Expert Council of the APK, other Assembly structures, directors of regional KGU "Kogamdyk kelisim" , heads and representatives of republican ethno-cultural associations, creative and scientific intelligentsia.

Opening the meeting, D.Mynbay noted that this year the President initiated large-scale reforms covering all aspects of society. The Assembly supports and participates in the implementation of all the major projects of the program "Ryhani zhangiry" - "100 new persons of Kazakhstan", "Tygan zher", "Sacral Geography of Kazakhstan". The Company adopted and supported the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the translation of the introduction of the alphabet of the state language on the Latin chart. This is an important step that will become the basis for modernization of the language, strengthen its position.

The Deputy Chairman and the Head of the APK Secretariat stressed that in these circumstances a new legislative approach is needed to determine the role of the APK in strengthening the social consensus and national unity, in implementing the program "Ryhani zhangiry". Prerequisites for drafting the bill are: bringing the legislation into line with the existing objective social relations in the country; the need for ordering and unifying the conceptual apparatus of the Law with the norms of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan; clarification of the main directions of work of the APK, etc.

Also in the course of the "round table" with proposals were APK deputy chairman A.Hamedov, member of the APK Council, Majilis deputy B.Abdraim, member of the APK Scientific and Expert Council M.Shaikemelev, chairman of the PO "Almaty Regional Azerbaijan Ethno-Cultural Association" A. Osman, deputy chairman of the Turkish ethnocultural center "Ahiska" in Almaty K.Kasimov, chairman of the Council of Mothers at the APK of the city of Almaty N.Niyazov, and others.

Proposals made during the round table will be summarized and sent to the working group on drafting a bill under the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
