December 8, 2017 in Astana Music Hall Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan held the Republican Congress of representatives of charitable organizations and donors.

In the event took part Deputy Chairman - Head of the Secretariat APK D.Mynbay, Deputy Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan V. Bozhko, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kazakhstan B.Abdіrayim, deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of the central state bodies of social direction, members of the APK, regional delegations - philanthropists, sponsors, charitable organizations and foundations, representatives of ethnocultural associations and non-governmental organizations, participants in APK charitable projects, media.

"I would like to name the names of all philanthropists of Kazakhstan. But this is impossible. There are a lot of them. We invited today the best. But I want to express my gratitude to everyone. Our philanthropists and philanthropists do not want to advertise their good deeds. They held fifteen hundred events. 950 thousand people took part in them. Through charity, we can unite people regardless of religions", - said Darkhan Mynbay in his speech.

The forum summed up the results  Republican action of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan "Caravan of Charity", discussed topical issues of philanthropy development and implementation of the program "Tugan zher".

In addition, as part of the event for the first time the ceremony of awarding established in the current year, the Head of State of the badge "Zhomart Zhan" Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in honor of public recognition and encouragement of citizens for achievements in the development of philanthropic and charitable activities and blagodarastvennyh letters of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan.

At the XXII session of the APK, the Head of State instructed the APK, together with interested bodies, to work out the issue of coordination of all charitable actions in the country under the auspices of the APK.

In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Charity" No. 402-V ZRK of November 16, 2015, the Assembly is called upon to promote the development of charity in the country, providing coordinating and other support in this area.

The action "Caravan of Charity" - project aimed to assert in society the values of mercy, humanity and unselfish mutual assistance, increased concern about the living conditions and health of Kazakhstan as an important factor of stability, social cohesion and national unity. It is a logical continuation of the Assembly's social projects.
