On June 23, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan of Mangistau oblast and KSU "Kokamdyk kelіsim" organized a festive event for the Day of Communication and Information Workers. And also summed up the creative competition in the field of journalism "Shanyrak".

The goal of the event is the implementation of the National Plan, the National Plan - 100 steps to implement the five institutional reforms of N. Nazarbayev, the presentation of letters of thanks to journalists who have contributed fruitfully to the development of ethnojournalism, intercultural dialogue, strengthening of national unity and the upbringing of Kazakhstan's patriotism.

27 journalists from our region presented their works for participation in the above-mentioned competition. Each of the participants of the creative competition touched upon such topics as the celebration of the Day of Unity of the people of Kazakhstan, the strengthening of interethnic harmony in the Kazakh society, the activities of ethno-cultural associations of the region, the issues of developing and strengthening inter-ethnic relations, etc.

In a welcome speech Ilmukhanbetova Sholpan Lazarovna - deputy akim of Mangistau region congratulated journalists and wished them success in their creative work. Participants of the contest were awarded valuable gifts and letters of appreciation on behalf of the Mangistau regional assembly of the people of Kazakhstan. In honor of the participants, a concert program was organized with the participation of creative collectives of ethno-cultural associations.

Then speeches were made by specially invited guests Kosybay Mandayli, a veteran journalist, Madena Raisa Ivanovna, the chairman of the Aktau branch of the Association of Koreans of Kazakhstan NGO, Huseynov Shamsadin Allahverdi oglu, the chairman of the Azerbaijan ECO Dostlug, who congratulated the juranists on their professional holiday and wished them creative successes .
